WORSHIP ARTS MINISTRY

The purpose of the Worship Arts Ministry is to use our creative gifts to draw others into an atmosphere where they can encounter Jesus, experience community, and embrace mission.

Sound Team

Our Sound Team serves the congregation and worship team by managing the operations of audio equipment in the Main. Sound Techs collaborate with the Media Team, Communicator and Worship Leader to provide an atmosphere where the congregation can encounter Jesus. Sound techs should have a humble spirit, a musical ear and the ability to learn new technology.

*This team involves a Thursday evening rehearsal and serves at all 3 weekend experiences on weeks you are scheduled.

Tech Team

Our Tech Team serves by using various methods of technology to help the congregation - both in person and online - engage with the music and message on the weekends. Our media team is made up of lighting/lyrics techs and camera/stream techs. Media techs work closely with the sound techs, communicator and worship leader to provide an atmosphere where the congregation can encounter Jesus. Media techs should give attention to detail and be able to learn new technology.

*This team involves a Thursday evening rehearsal and serves at all 3 weekend experiences on weeks you are scheduled.

Worship Team

Members of the worship team are musicians who are worshipers on and off the stage. They use their musical gifts to help create a journey of worship to invite the congregation to respond to God for Who He is and what He has done. Worship team members should be skilled musicians, team players and humble worshipers.

KidMin Worship Leaders

Our KidMin Worship Leaders are vocalists who are committed to building an atmosphere of worship at GTWY Church. We lead students in Grades K-4 in a time of singing and Scripture geared toward engaging their minds and hearts in responding to God for Who He is and what He has done. KidMin Worship vocalists should be skilled singers who are able to engage with the students on their level in order to point them to Jesus.

Host Team

Our weekend hosts use their gift of public speaking to connect with the congregation and help them take their next steps. Hosts communicate upcoming events and important information for the congregation, as well as helping the congregation process and respond to the weekend conversation. Hosts should be clear, engaging communicators who enjoy connecting with people.

Sunday Breakfast Team

Many of our weekend volunteers arrive by 7:30am and stay to serve until at least 12:30pm. Providing breakfast is a way to provide encouragement to these teams, and allow them to be refreshed and restored so that they can continue serving well. If you like to cook and minister to people through food, come join the breakfast team!

CREATIVE TEAM

Video

Our video team helps to tell the stories of the life change that happens when people encounter Jesus for the first time with the hope that someone else may encounter Him too. While experience is preferred, we want to create a space for people with a passion for serving God in this area. We will provide the training that you need.

Photography

Our photography team helps to capture and document life here at Gateway. From Sundays to special events, showcase what God is doing at Gateway Church! Training is provided.

Graphic Design

Our graphic design team is a space to use your creativity and design skills to help communicate the mission of GTWY. Like the rest of the creative teams, experience is great, but passion is required. We will provide all of the training you need.

Social Media

We help people digitally encounter Jesus, experience community, and embrace mission using Facebook and Instagram while keeping them connected with what's happening in and around Gateway Church. This team of creatives helps with content creation and digital strategy.
